Me and *nightshade13 just had a discussion on the messengers, how it is that artists always have their Jareth resemble Bowie as much as they can.

I'm from a course that encourages people to draw characters in a way to reflect their personality. And people have noticed before that my Jareth doesn't really resemble Bowie that much.

To me, Jareth is a personality of his own. Jareth ISN'T David Bowie, Bowie merely plays the character. It's such a shame that some artists have Jareth look like David Bowie.. while in reality he isn't. No offense to gorgeous Bowie, he did his part well *_*



And thus this is where I place my challenge:

I dare the artists of this site who are Labyrinth fans to draw Jareth the way THEY see him. The way THEIR minds eye reflects his personality.. and then gives him a physical shape. I don't care if he ends up with purple hair, or buckteeth (xD). I want to see how you see Jareth, as the true Goblin King.

This is a nice experiment me and *nightshade13 came up with, it'll be nice to see what shapes Jareth can take ^__^


The deadline is for the 18th of March. After that I'll place all the submissions in my journal and review them with Nightshade. That way we can all have a look x3
